Join together with Mantua as we celebrate the “home going” memorial for 3711 Melon Street. Music, food, spoken testimonies, and the demolition and final resting of the home will accompany this service that has been collaboratively arranged by artists and local residents.

Service will start promptly at 11am, at the foot of 3711 Melon St. Please make efforts to enter on the 38th St side. Following the service, a procession accompanied by local drill teams Unique Miracles and Xtreme Kre8tionz and a performance by West Philadelphia’s Play on Philly will travel north through the surrounding blocks of Mantua. A reception will follow, back on the 3700 block of Melon St.

Parking is available at Morton McMichael School, at the corner of 35th and Fairmount Ave. This is a free and public event. No registration required. More information throughout this site.
